Whenever I try to open a file on a Samba share under Linux, LyX crashes immediately with a "Bus error" on the console. The same file, when copied on the local disk works fine.
There's a similar bug but is targeted at 1.6.x, but it's still there on 2.0.0 post rc1, r37968: http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/5891 Is there any known and quick workaround? venom00
