Please forward all your resumes to *mindle...@mindlease.net* once we screen your resumes we will call you for more details. *REQUIREMENT DETAILS:* *Position:* Sr. Data Modeler *Location:* Detroit, MI *Duration:* 6 Months *Job Description:* *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Gather and document business requirements, translate business requirements to technical specifications, project estimating support and identifying cost implications. Create, document, and maintain logical and physical database models. Mentor application development team and assist developers with complex query development and performance optimization. Proactive monitoring of system performance and diagnostics. Assist with production support and maintenance. Minimum three - five (3-5) years data modeling experience. Minimum three - five (3-5) years Relational database (Sybase or Oracle) experience (SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, etc.). Three to five years’ experience with Unix/AIX preferred. Data modeling, Oracle database, and Unix/AIX experience can be concurrent. One to three years Database Administration experience including tuning/optimization and monitoring (preferred).
