Folks We have a lovely yellow tiny 24 inch yellow Viking range…. I bought it from a junk guy for $100 5 years ago. Lighting the oven is often flakey … delays etc. It has an igniter …. Whirlpool China ones are $20 and work and real Viking is $120 or something …. I replace them probably every couple of years . I did it last night and it lights quickly. The heated color of the old and new igniter are close to the same … maybe the new is closer to white hot. Anyway it works perfectly now with the new igniter.
So I made a couple of quiches which are still in the oven Happy thanksgiving y’all!
