*Title: Ab Initio Developer* *Duration: 4 Months* *Location: Herndon, VA* *Rate: DOE (C-2-C, Inclusive All)* *Job Description: * An *Ab Initio developer* is required within the *Equities Sub Ledger group*to perform design, development, testing and production support related activities. ** *Responsibilities:* - Design and develop auditable and repeatable applications using *Ab Initio, Unix scripting, SQL and Autosys*. - Document processes and procedures to support internal and S-Ox requirements. - Work with business partners and obtain relevant business logic to efficiently translate business requirements into code - Work with Quality Assurance and Operations team to integrate components into larger applications and ensure seamless executions. - Communicate in an effective and timely manner the results of activities to peers and direct management. *Qualifications:* - *2 - 4 years* solid working experience as an *Ab Initio developer* on large database applications - *3 - 5 years* of development experience at least *3 years of SQL and Unix scripting development* experience - Expertise in application development with knowledge of full software development life cycle. - Strong knowledge and use of development methodologies, standards and procedures. - Knowledge of Autosys a must - Knowledge of Business Objects is a plus. - *5-7+ years software development experience * 5+ Yrs. * - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) *Ab Initio* * - 5 (Expert) of 5 (Expert) *Business Objects* * - Strong knowledge of *SQL for querying databases* * - 4 (Very Strong) of 5 (Expert) *CA-Autosys ** Looking forward for your REPLY.
