Just an FYI if it helps anyone
We are building our own perl 5.24.1 perl package for debian to fix some
bugs (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=900739)
As a result, the date ticking over to 2020 broke the build due to tests
in 5.24.1
I provided a patch under the same license terms as perl to the kind
people at Debian for the official package in their bug
