Peeter, I've never owned an F90x, but I know it a bit since a friend of mine owns one. However, I've got an F4. Keep in mind that you'll lose 3D flash matrix metering with the F4. That's about the only major function you lose. AFAIK, the F4 is the only Nikon which offers matrix exposure metering with non-CPU (MF) lenses. Since you intend to do some MF shooting, consider this. The 100% viewfinder is a great thing. And you get some other nice stuff: - multiple exposures - film leader out after rewind - manual and power rewind - flexible viewfinder system Bracketing is not available unless you have the MF-23 data back.
