Khezong,

My N70 has done the same thing since I got it (Jan '97). It does not make
the sound all the time. However, it has never affected the images and at
this point I have gotten used to it. If you look inside at the hinge pin,
you will see a protruding screw "handle". Check to see if this screw is
snug. As you probably know, there is a Q.D. back for this camera, so the
back is easily removeable. If you slide the handle/pin down, you can
release the back from the camera. Make sure the hinge pin is seated
properly in the upper and lower holes.

Hope this helps.

Subject: help on a problem with N70's back cover [v04.n200/28]
Message: 28

Hi,

I bought my N70 last summer. I like the camera, but its back cover has
always
been bothering me. If I push and release the back cover back and forth, I
can
hear the clicking sound just like clicking a computer mouse button. It is
annoying every time I try to take a picture. The back cover can also slide
up and down against the camera main body. All of above happens with
or without film loaded.

Has anyone had similar experience with the N70? Or should I have it
repaired?
The one year warranty is going to expire.

Thanks
Kezhong
