Any of those configurations should work, but there seems to be a permissions 
problem. This is odd, since there is a udev rule in the Ubuntu package on 12.04 
which should match this device.

What does 'ls -l /dev/bus/005/003' return? (adjust the 005/003 to match the 
last part of the "Checking device" line for the UPS) 

You can also see if '/lib/nut/blazer_usb -DDD -u root -a powerwalker1' works 
temporarily.
