At today's Symposium presentation, I announced - and demonstrated - a
new version of the documentation build tools that are written in ooRexx
and that does not depend on any* system commands like XCOPY or SET. *It
still uses Zip on *nix/mac. Once the documentation is finished, I will
commit it to the repository for testing in the non-Windows
environments. Hopefully, it will work well there as well :-).

But maybe you mean something more?
Yes, one zip-archive including all five platforms in a common directory
structure and a utility that
will create scripts to run any of the stick ooRexxes.
The idea is, that someone like you who has more than one platform or friends
with different
operating systems, that you could put that on your USB-stick and run ooRexx on
the platform that
happens to be the one you need or your friends use.
Ok! That makes sense indeed!

@René: this version will not have BSF4ooRexx support, it is the initial pure
ooRexx version. I would
like to gather experiences and user reports before going further and create
stick versions of ooRexx
that add additional functionality.
Something for next years presentation then? :-)
More at the presentation tomorrow…
REALLY sorry I cannot join the presentations :-(
Cheers
