Hi again, try to set a baseDN or if you're searching locally try the expression with an "-x" when searching your ldaptree, in your case:
ldapsearch -x -b dc=example,dc=org or ldapsearch -b dc=example,dc=org but probably you havn't set any users to bind to or acls to restrict access, please read the manpage for binddn and basedn to connect to your server. These are very important basics you should know about. Bye.
