It has been about 3 weeks and the feedback so far has largely been positive. The one concern we have seen raised is that this may be confusing with the OpenDev conference. Fungi makes a great argument that cross promoting between the conference and the development tooling can be a net positive since many of our goals overlap. Finding that argument compelling myself, and not seeing any counterarguments I think we should move forward with using the OpenDev name and opendev.org domain for the team and services that we host. Long story short let's go ahead and use this name and start making progress on this effort. Next stop: etherpad.opendev.org.
