Is there any difference between the serial manager behavior on Palm OS 4.1 and Palm OS 5.0 ? I am not able to send / receive chars on a Sony CLIE machine running Palm OS 5.0 . It gives me serial line errors instead . but the application works fine on a Palm OS 4.1 device . Also , has the Sony CLIE machines got some sort of Palm OS customization for their different device series ? Because the application works on one series and does not on another .
