Hi Matt, I tried running the same example with a smaller grid on a workstation and I see that for a grid size of 8192x8192 (vector write dims 67108864, 2), the output file has a chunk size of (16777215, 2).
I can’t see HDF5_INT_MAX in the spack build-log (which includes configure). Is there a better way to look it up? [sajid@xrmlite .spack]$ cat build.out | grep "HDF" #define PETSC_HAVE_HDF5 1 #define PETSC_HAVE_LIBHDF5HL_FORTRAN 1 #define PETSC_HAVE_LIBHDF5 1 #define PETSC_HAVE_LIBHDF5_HL 1 #define PETSC_HAVE_LIBHDF5_FORTRAN 1 #define PETSC_HAVE_HDF5_RELEASE_VERSION 5 #define PETSC_HAVE_HDF5_MINOR_VERSION 10 #define PETSC_HAVE_HDF5_MAJOR_VERSION 1 Thank You, Sajid Ali Applied Physics Northwestern University
