Thanks for making pingus! It looks pretty, plays just like the original
Lemmings game, works with linux, it's perfect :)
I have a question: can I use some of the Pingus graphics (specifically,
the backgrounds) in another game? (The game I'm writing is called Vacuum
Magic, the website is at http://apocalypse.rulez.org/vacuum). I know the
license is GPL and legally I can reuse parts of the software, but still,
I'd rather ask for permission first...
Some small things about the pingus website:
* The pingus-devel mailing list address stated on the contact page
(http://pingus.seul.org/contact.html) is
pingus-de...@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org. Following the link to
http://mail.freesoftware.fsf.org/mailman/listinfo/pingus-devel the
address is pingus-de...@nongnu.org. Perhaps this could be clarified?
* The FAQ (http://pingus.seul.org/faq.html) states that there is no
official Windows build of 0.6. However, the download page
(http://pingus.seul.org/download.html) seems to have a serviceable
windows installer for 0.72. Technically both can be true, but perhaps an
update of the FAQ would be good. :)
