Package: evolution

Severity: important

Hi,

If this bug is not Debian related then I'm sorry. But since the freeze is
coming very soon I rather report it directly to you guys instead of waiting for
a reaction on bugzilla from the Evolution team. I however will report this
upstream anyway
after this bug report is finished.

I have two problems:
1) When I want to click on a link inside an email then it selects text. When I
click beside the text selection with my left mouse button then it selects even
more text in a random fashion. This makes it impossible to open links normally.
To open them anyway, I need to close the email I'm attempting to open a link
from. Then reopen the mail and then open the link by clicking the right mouse
button and select 'open with browser'.

2) When I do want to select text then the text selection jumps everywhere. So
it's nearly impossible to select the text that I want to select.

I can reproduce this bug on two Wheezy machines. I like to hear from you guys.

Thank you.

This was fixed in the experimental upload. When evo is rebuilt to use this
version of gtkhtml (soonish), you'll see the behaviour change.

Thanks for the report!
