it somewhat depends on the version of libsvm you use... any recent Debian-shipped version has control over output, the version we ship along with pymvpa also had that patch applied. libsvm releases >= 2.89 also has the ability to control output (you would need most recent pymvpa release though 0.4.2).
By default LIBSVM output is disabled, but if you run your script in non-optimized mode, and enable debug id LIBSVM, then you get what you asked for ;) see http://www.pymvpa.org/misc.html?highlight=debug#debug-messages for more information On Thu, 28 May 2009, Matthew Cieslak wrote: > Hi, > Is there any way to toggle the printing of the optimization details > from libsvm on and off? > Thanks, > Matt > _______________________________________________ > Pkg-ExpPsy-PyMVPA mailing list > Pkg-ExpPsy-PyMVPA@lists.alioth.debian.org > http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-exppsy-pymvpa -- .-. =------------------------------ /v\ ----------------------------= Keep in touch // \\ (yoh@|www.)onerussian.com Yaroslav Halchenko /( )\ ICQ#: 60653192 Linux User ^^-^^ [175555] _______________________________________________ Pkg-ExpPsy-PyMVPA mailing list Pkg-ExpPsy-PyMVPA@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-exppsy-pymvpa
