Dear all,

while skimming through my inbox I was reminded of a pointer by
David on the CC line about using dpkg's --path-exclude option
to remove some not so much sought after parts of some packages.
This might at least to some degree even improve the performance
of install.sh.

Are there any strong feelings about e.g.
 --path-exclude /usr/share/doc
 --path-exclude /usr/share/man
?

I am a fan of the localepurge package. Would that make sense
for install.sh to install?

Steffen
