Package: fso-frameworkd
Version: 0.8.5.1-1
Severity: normal

fso-frameworkd depends on fso-gsm0710muxd, but discussion on the
pkg-fso-maint mailinglist indicates that really that daemon should only
(at best) be default and fallback on other implementations like
fso-abyss.

I suggest to do it through virtual packages (which as I understand it
need *not* conflict with each other). That is, have fso-frameworkd
fallback on e.g. "fso-gsm-daemon" and have each daemon which provide the
appropriate ABI provide "fso-gsm-daemon".

This helps locate (through aptitude and potentially other smarter tools
in the future) possible alternatives.

Kind regards,

 - Jonas

This dependency is no longer specified in fso-frameworkd.
Apart from that the gsm service of fso-frameworkd is
deprecated. fso-gsmd should be used these days.
