Hi, gstreamer plugins maintainers I have unarchived this bug report to add more info on it. Not yet reopened it for jessie because I am not fully sure that is is the one to blame.
I am having some problems in jessie similar to those reported in this bug report, although they are not yet as reproducible. Using iceweasel=38.4.0esr-1~deb8u1 and gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad+libgstreamer-plugins-bad1.0-0=1.4.4-2.1+b1 I have been finding some problems about iceweasel sudden closure. I have build a personal gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad=1.4.4-2.1.0.0+amd1 package including the patch that fixed this problem and it seemed to disappear. The reason why I am not yet reopening this bug report for jessie is that after reverting to current jessie versions (1.4.4-2.1(+b1)) I am not reproducing it, so I cannot discard that there is something else involved. Adding this info here in case anyone else is finding this problem in jessie. If so, a jessie point upload may be be useful.
