I noticed that this bug was also accompanied by other new behavior. Usually, when I would start up, I would get a dialog box telling me that this version of Eclipse did not support integrated browsing.
That dialog box is gone. On the other hand, that led me to attempt to set which browser Eclipse uses. When I go to Window -> Web Browser, Eclipse crashes immediately with the stated error message. If anyone could tell me how to reset the browser preferences via text editor, I would appreciate it. The preferences are not in ~/.eclipserc or in ~/.eclipse/[.]eclpliserc, or any place else I've looked.
