--- Begin Message ---Source: pulseaudio Version: 11.1-3 Severity: minor Hi, pulseaudio build-depends on the libatomic-ops-dev package, but never uses it. The only file which references atomic_ops.h is "src/pulsecore/atomic.h", however it is only used if HAVE_ATOMIC_BUILTINS is not defined which is never the case when GCC is used as the compiler. When GCC is used, the __sync based atomics are used instead. Thanks, Jamessignature.asc

Dbus usage is otherwise broken, because there is no daemon to connect to, and dbus does not autolaunch when there is no X11 around. (Closes: #883542) * Drop libatomic-ops-dev Build-Dependency. It is never used when building with gcc, since it is only used as fallback when atomic builtins are not available, but gcc does have them.
