Package: xfce4
Version: 4.2.3
Severity: wishlist

one item that xfce is lacking that would be very useful is a file search
application. this may be as simple as a link to the gnome file search.
i think it would be useful to have a default link on the xfce panel as
well as in the xfce applications menu (near "run program"). thank you
for your consideration and hard work.

xfce4-linelight-plugin is now in NEW queue (see #517658). It's a search
plugin for xfce4 panel. I'm thus closing this bug, there are multiple
search applications available for the Xfce desktop.

Cheers and thanks for your bug,
