Package: lightdm-gtk-greeter Version: 2.0.2-1 Severity: normal lightdm-gtk-greeter sets the locale to the first available one (aa_DJ.utf8 in my case, as I have all locales installed) instead of keeping the system one. The consequence is that I can see in the .xsession-errors file after logging in:
Xsession: X session started for vlefevre at tal nah 21 3:42:54 carra CET 2017 [...] dbus-update-activation-environment: setting LANG=aa_DJ.utf8 [...] Note: /etc/environment is empty and /etc/default/locale contains: # File generated by update-locale #LANG="en_US.UTF-8" LANGUAGE="en_US:en" Possibly related to https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=735401 but I don't understand this bug very well. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages lightdm-gtk-greeter depends on: ii libc6 2.24-9 ii libcairo2 1.14.8-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.5-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.50.3-1 pn libgtk-3-0 <none> ii liblightdm-gobject-1-0 1.18.3-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.4-3 Versions of packages lightdm-gtk-greeter recommends: ii adwaita-icon-theme [gnome-icon-theme-symbolic] 3.22.0-1 ii desktop-base 9.0.2 ii gnome-icon-theme-symbolic 3.12.0-2 ii gnome-themes-standard 3.22.2-2 ii policykit-1 0.105-17 lightdm-gtk-greeter suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf changed: [greeter] clock-format=%F %T -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ Pkg-xfce-devel mailing list Pkg-xfce-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-xfce-devel
