Robert Xiao added the comment: I've attached a fixed readline.so built from today's 2.7 branch, for the convenience of anyone who upgraded to 10.9 and now has crashing Python.
Drop the file in /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload, replacing the original readline.so.
