Ned Deily <n...@python.org> added the comment: Update: as of 3.7.0b3, both 3.7.0 installer variants (10.9+ and 10.6+) provide a built-in Tcl/Tk 8.6.8. And 3.6.5 and 2.7.15 also provide a 10.9+ installer variant with the built-in Tcl/Tk 8.6.8. (For the moment, the 3.6.5 and 2.7.15 10.6+ 64-bit/32-bit installers still link with an external Tcl/Tk 8.5.x.)
