Dear all, In relation to my issue -
Using the write.caic(tree) function returns this - Error in caic.label(phy, action = "insert", charset) : 'phy' not of class 'phylo' Liam.J.Revell suggested giving write.caic() a filebase so when i called it with write.caic(tree,"testfile") it worked.
