Hi Neil,

the higher the number the "better" is the compression. However a
higher compression needs more cpu time and the cms server and the ftp
server.

What is being compressed? the data stream is beeing compressed if
possible. Makes sence for the html page, but there is no effect for
jpgs, pngs, pdfs and stuff like that.
