Package: reportbug
Version: 7.1.7
Severity: grave
Since several weeks I just get the following message after the list of
current bugs:
Briefly describe the problem (max. 100 characters allowed). This will be the
bug email subject, so keep the summary as concise as possible, for
example: "fails to send email" or "does not start with -q option specified"
(enter Ctrl+c to exit reportbug without reporting a bug).
When reporting issues regarding git-buildpackage please run the failing
command
with --git-verbose (gbp buildpackage) or --verbose (all other commands) and
provide the full output.
(You may need to press 'q' to exit your pager and continue using
reportbug at this point.)
After that, nothing works anymore. "q" does nothing and "q<return>" does
put you to the input where additional address is queried.

please refrain from using release-critical severity levels if you are

first, thanks for letting me guess you're trying to report a bug
against git-buildpackage. second, this looks to be an issue with the
pager youre using:
> EDITOR="vim"
> PAGER="less"
> VISUAL="vim"
maybe some configuration you applied to vim and/or less; i tried
replicating this (setting those pagers too) and it just works.
this is a user-configuration issue, so please seek support on one of
the user support forum, such as debian-users maling-list.
Regards,
