It's a build based on our current development tree.  So it's the most  
up-to-date version we have.

Yes.  If the snapshot date is after the bug fix date, it will have  
the bug fix.  If you're still seeing the same problem with a snapshot  
after the bug fix date, please report it as a new bug.  (Our test  
case might find a closely-related bug, but there might be a second  
case that we didn't catch.)

Right.   The snapshot is great for verifying bug fixes before the  
release, but not suitable for production.
