Oh, I see, I was mistaken.  For some reason, the pull request I'm supposed 
to review is partially already in develop.  Something went completely wrong 
here.  I see

which has 19 commits, but also

3b94a2ef915 gh-pr-34970: add is_supergreedy() to linear extensions

which is in 10.0.beta1.  Oh, now I see that there is a comment about the 
mess in the pull request.
