*Main Function* Under a low to moderate level of supervision by the Senior Project Manager, this position is responsible for the maintenance of the department’s minor enhancements list and the subsequent management of small or medium projects (and/or individual phases of larger projects) to drive these enhancements to resolution. Most important, the candidate should possess strong analytical and communications skills allowing them to liaise with senior management, cross functional clients and partner with IT to achieve their goals *Main Duties* Act as project lead for HCM technology based projects Organize and manage project governance structures: project sponsors, business teams and subject matter experts Conduct build vs. buy analysis and manage RFP process if necessary Determine project roles and responsibilities Drive project phases to consensus and sign-off, including: maintaining project timelines and plans identification and management of risk reporting to senior management and governance structure Lead project team, including: development of detailed project requirements development of functional specifications, testing and acceptance criteria Develop, communicate and implement user training plan, materials & calendar Develop maintenance plan, support documents and SLA. Partner with Global Systems and Projects team based in UK Partner with HR Technology staff; project & infrastructure managers and programmer staff Coordinate with HCM Operations staff and HCM specialists Liaison to Procurement group *Person Requirements* Essential BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 6-9 years experience with application design, project management and/or HR data management, including significant, proven project lead experience in HCM Excellent project management skills Excellent oral & written communication skills Ability to see the big picture and to execute with an eye towards strategy Excellent PC skills; preferably well-experienced with MS Word, MS Access, Visio, Microsoft Project & other project management/organizational toolsStrong knowledge of SAP HR Knowledge of a common Project Management Methodology. Ability to excel in a high pressured, deadline oriented environment. Strong analytical skills; problem solver. Solid oral and written communications skills. Strong teamwork skills.
