Job Title: Java Developer Location: NY Duration: 12+ mnths SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced Java developer to work on *implementing an open architecture fixed income trading platform*. Client deliverable is an open and competitive fixed income marketplace that can be accessed by the sales force. Projects will include *ECN connectivity*, market data capture and aggregation, order routing, and price inquiry capabilities. REQUIRED: • Strong Java and web service skills • Experience with open source frameworks including Hibernate and Spring • Messaging middleware such as WebsphereMQ • Database experience; DB2 a plus • 7+ years experience • *FIX Protocol * •* ECN connectivity * • In-memory or time-series databases • Knowledge of fixed income products The candidate needs to be motivated and self-directed, and able to handle all aspects of the technology development life cycle.
