*Position*: Senior Performance Testing Lead *Location:* Deerfield, IL *Duration:* 6 months Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 10 + Years Technical/Functional Skills : Performance Testing and Tuning, HP Load Runner/Performance Center, Foglight/Tivoli monitoring tool. Load runner Silver light protocol experience is desired. *Experience Required* • Expertise in Performance Testing, Analysis and Tuning of Web-based and SOA applications • Experience with load testing tools like HP Load Runner/Performance Center, JMeter, Load UI/SoapUI • Expert in a wide array of loadrunner protocols including Web(HTTP/HTML), AJAX (Click and Script), Web Services, MQ, Java and Silverlight • Experience with atleast one monitoring tool like Wily Introscope, HP Sitescope, Tivoli, Foglight, etc • Overall experience in identifying and troubleshooting common performance issues with the load balancer, middleware, server and database tiers. • *Roles & Responsibilities* : • Single Point of Contact for performance optimization team • Responsible for the timely delivery of deliverables • Track status and provide updates to the WAG leadership team • Co-ordinate with other teams (business, architects, operations) during Performance testing • Collect business requirements and interpret them into technical test specifications • Analysis of the test results • Provide observations/recommendations for Performance improvement • Automation scripting – QTP, Load Runner • Setup load injection mechanism • Test scenario design • Test execution • Monitoring – Infrastructure & application • Result analysis • Publish results and observations • Setup monitoring framework • Design/modify realistic test scenarios • Result analysis & bottleneck identification • Provide observations/recommendations for Performance improvement *Generic Managerial Skills*: Good Leadership capability, Excellent Analytical Skills, Ability to work under pressure and multi-task, Good communication skills.
