SQA experience* Candidate must have over 8 years of overall IT experience with 4+ years of Release experience and 5+ years of Project Management experience *Full Description: * Our client in Cambridge, MA has a Temp to Hire role for a Release Manager *Description:* - Coordinate the release lifecycle and environments associated with an internal Platform. This includes scheduling, coordinating, and management of releases across software work streams and enterprise environments for multiple applications, development groups and functional IT groups. - The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, project and programs. - Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments. - Work collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments. Also will work with IT management, architects, software development and IT organizations to ensure close alignment of software environments to projects and standards; to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments. *REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * - 4 to 6 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred) - 8 to 10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development - Formal training in project management practices preferred - Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle - Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills - Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must - Microsoft Project experience a plus - Worked with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence and Bamboo *MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * - Candidate should have a minimum of 5 to 7 years project management experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Worker What are the three most important qualifications? 1.
