*SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:*
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Java in a web environment.
· Expertise and strong technical experience working on n-tier
Java/JEE applications
· Strong technical experience programming in Java
· Strong technical experience using application frameworks like
Spring and Hibernate
· Strong technical experience working with a Oracle back end and
strong SQL skills
· Experience working on JBoss or similar environments
· Experience working on a Linux or similar platform
· Strong problem solving skills, ability to design solutions to
complex problems using scaleable algorithms
· Ability to identify the right framework/solution to a problem
· Ability to effectively learn and use new programming concepts,
tools, and methodology to support the needs of the application development
and project.
· Strong understanding of emerging technologies and systems
development best practices.
· Knowledge/Exposure to Groovy and Grails is a plus
· Strong Experience working in an Agile environment
· Ability to work in a environment supporting dynamic, high
performance business.
· Strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with
the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
· Advanced presentation (written and verbal) communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to all
levels of business.
· Ability to effectively share technical information and train and
mentor less experienced or knowledgeable team members.
· High level of teamwork skills (communication, ability to share
ideas and solutions for work challenges).
· Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, we
will accept equivalent in education, experience, or both.
