Perform database move with databases running on file system and ASM with
RAC
Attending planning meetings and work independently
Follow standard change management
Be available for off-hours support and handle escalation calls
Able to support various oracle database version (8i - 11g)
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities?
RAC
TSM
GRID
What skills/attributes are a must have?
DBA skills necessary to perform database move with databases running diff
version and on different file system.
What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts,
etc)
Generally is 9 - 5 but needs to be flexible to accommodate business needs.
This may involve working on night/weekends.
