Web Developer with Lotus Notes:
Our client is seeking a Web Developer with Lotus Notes experience for a
long term contact role ( 12 plus months ) on site with our client located
in Mid-Town Manhattan.
Position Overview:
To maintain existing Open System applications and develop new application
features and functions by preparing computer programs to meet the
requirements of new Business requests and equipment, prepares programs for
new applications according to the specifications established in the
approved systems design, thoroughly test and document the programs and
instruct the operators in their use.
Develop intranet applications using Lotus Domino application server.
Coding in Lotus Script, Java, functions, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, and
HTML.
Develop JEE applications running on WebSphere application server.
Coding in Java, JavaScript, JQuery, and HTML.
Develop batch processing systems on these platforms.
ClearCase source control administrator and support.
Support production applications on these platforms.
Write documentation about developed systems.
Provide Helpdesk support to users for existing systems.
Performs related duties as required.
Required Skill Set:
Working knowledge of existing languages and operating systems in use.
SQL 2008 programming stored procedures, functions, triggers and other
database objects.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience in the following: Lotus Domino 8.52
Lotus Domino Designer 8.52
IBM WebSphere Express 7.x
IBM Rational Application Developer 8.x
ClearCase 8.x
Java 6 and JEE
jQuery 1.10
Competencies:
Time Management skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated and highly organized.
The ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of users with
different computing requirements and backgrounds.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to work either in a team environment or independently
