One Ph.D. and one Postdoc position are available at the "Protein Modelling and Computer-Aided Drug Design" group of the Technical University of Munich. The group was established 2008 through the center of excellence “Center for Integrated Protein Science Munich“ (CIPSM). It is an integral part of CIPSM and is located at the Life Science Campus of the Technical University, offering an excellent environment for innovative and collaborative research across disciplines. The Technical University of Munich is a major research university and one of nine universities in Germany, which were awarded the excellence label of the German government for their future research concepts. Successful applicants should have a strong background in either bioinformatics, biophysics, or computer science. Experience in structural modeling of biological or chemical systems would be advantageous. Candidates are expected to engage in interdisciplinary research and to foster collaborations with experimental groups from (bio)chemistry, biology, and medicine.
