Re: Taglib namespace
Hi Matthias, Yes, that's old code that should have been changed to http://myfaces.apache.org/adf/faces; at some point and now I guess it should be http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad;. Regarding af and ah: I'd prefer either td and tdh or tri and trih. The tri would correspond with the skinning prefix -tri- recommendation to replace -ora-. :-) Thanks, Matt On 7/25/06, Matthias Wessendorf [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: In some (metadata) files I also found xmlns:af=http://myfaces.apache.org/adf/faces/core; that core is sort of legacy? b/c we decided before on that from: http://myfaces.apache.org/adf/faces http://myfaces.apache.org/adf/faces/html to: http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/html On 7/25/06, Matthias Wessendorf [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Same for (metadata) files which contain xmlns:mafp= http://myfaces.apache.org/maven-trinidad-plugin; I stay with mafp On 7/25/06, Matthias Wessendorf [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: For some reasons, I like to stay with af and ah t is taken by tomahawk tc is tobago ... tt is audi :) On 7/24/06, Adam Winer [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On 7/24/06, Matthias Wessendorf [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hey, how to deal with that guy ? plugin groupIdorg.apache.myfaces.trinidadbuild/groupId artifactIdmaven-tagdoc-plugin/artifactId versionincubator-alpha-3-SNAPSHOT/version configuration taglibs afhttp://myfaces.apache.org/adf/faces/af afhhttp://myfaces.apache.org/adf/faces/html/afh /taglibs /configuration /plugin I think http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/faces is not a good thing. +1 for the tri and trih, this really makes thing more consistent with the whole renaming of Trinidad. Re: Re: Taglib namespace
These prefixes are, of course, entirely up to the end user, so an end user can stick with af if so desired. So, we're just deciding what we use in documentation and our own source. I'd rather go for tr and trh; two letters is a common length. I don't see much in the way of three and four letter taglib namespaces. -- Adam On 7/25/06, [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: +1 for the tri and trih, this really makes thing more consistent with the whole renaming of Trinidad. This is true, thanks for stating that. +1 for tr/trh too. (I would just like to avoid using af because it is confusing to newcomers.)
