Difference in results between google ad words API and keyword planner console

Good Day,

I’m trying to forecast the value of various keywords using the google 
Adwords API. So far, the clicks, costs per click, and other metrics 
returned through the API don’t come anywhere close to those retrieved 
through the Keyword Planner console. There are several adjustable forecast 
parameters in the console such as language, location, and search network, 
and I tried to match these parameters in the API but still there is alot of 
difference.
Here is the data returned by the API

Promotion extension support in Google Ads scripts

Hi everybody!

I want to ask, whether there is a planned support for Promotions 
(assets/extension) in the Google Ads scripts => I mean, whether this 
feature would (possibly) be implemented for Ads scripts in the future?

I wanted to automatize the changes of end-date for certain Promotion 
extensions of my Google Ads account via scripts inside Google Ads. 
Unfortunately, there is no support yet according to the official resource 
documentation.

Hello,

I understand that an 'INTERNAL_ERROR' could be transient in nature, but it 
doesn't appear to be the case here. We're able to retrieve other call 
recordings fine, but not the others.

Here's one instance:

   - 2307495627
   - creationDateTime: 2024-03-05 12:54:19.236424
   - We've tried several times in a span of days
   
Note that this occurs in multiple customers/ad accounts. I can provide more 
if needed

Re: delete campaigns, adgroup, audieces

You should filter on the field Status: status "removed" means that the 
campaign/group/ad/keyword/etc. is removed.

Background: One would think that when deleting a campaign after spending 
1000 Euro on it, Google forgets about the money. But... too bad, you still 
owe Google the money. Now, to prevent people complaining that the totals 
don't match, the campaign is not actually deleted. It just gets the status 
"removed" and becomes read-only. 

In the UI you can also toggle that filter. The difference is, in the UI the 
(first-time) default is just "active", in the API the default is "active" 
plus "paused" plus "removed".

Java streaming to google ads

I know how to stream from google ads search but I can't see any appropriate 
classes in the java sdk (v15) for streaming to google ads. In particular, I 
want to stream to ConversionUploadServiceClient or its equivalent as 
google's servers are frequently failing with our large payloads on this 
service.

Are there any good examples or any clues as to which interfaces to use to 
stream to google's servers?

Google LSA Call Recording 500 Response

We've recently integrated LSA call recordings into our system. We've 
noticed that we're receiving 500 Internal Server Error responses for some 
of the LSA call recording URLs. Could you please confirm if this is an 
expected response for these URLs, or if there might be something happening 
on your end causing these errors? 

Please let us know if you need any information from our end to assist in 
resolving this issue.

The call recording in question is from local_services_lead_conversation 
resource.

Offline conversions reporting takes a long time

Hi guys

I am uploading conversions reporting via api for a long time now (offline 
conversions).
For the last couple of days it seems like the api call for that is taking a 
very long time to reply.

Trying out sending just 1 conversion data point takes 1 minute to process.

Please advise

Developer Token Basic Access requested a month ago without reply

I submitted a Basic Access Request for my Developer Token about four weeks 
ago and have been awaiting a decision without any reply. I have also opened 
a support ticket, but neither  received a ticket id nor an email

Okay thank you, we will try with a new console project. As for the access 
level of our developer token, we have requested multiple times to get basic 
access using "ad...@erad.co" but we have never got any responses from 
Google. Can you please check that?

Delete campaigns, adgroup, audieces

Hi there,
I am creating

campaign, adgroups and audiences through python code. The create, update 
and fetch operation is successful, When I tried to delete 
(https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-python/blob/main/examples/basic_operations/remove_campaign.py)
 
campaign, ad-group or audiences. the resource is getting deleted but when I 
fetch all campaign, ad-groups or audiences ( 
https://github.com/googleads/google-ads-python/blob/main/examples/basic_operations/get_campaigns.py).
 
It returns the deleted campaigns, ad-groups and audiences also. How shall I 
filter out?

How to retrieve the Client/Customer TrackingUrl Setting through API?

Hi,

I'm struggling to retrieve the Tracking Template URL on the Customer 
Account itself. 

CustomerService.MutateCustomer accepts a Customer which has 
"TrackingUrlTemplate" as a property.

Through MCC I can go onto any Account and select on the left side menu 
"Account Settings" -> "Tracking" -> "Tracking Template". 

I cant figure out how to read the Account Tracking Template URL through API?

Google Ads API access Basic level - no answer

I have applied for Basic Access for my developer token for Google Ads API 
more than a month ago and haven't received any reply. In my application I 
added all the necessary data and submitted the use cases on our application.

I've also filled in the form to contact Google Ads API Compliance team, but 
no reply either. 

Could you please check on the status of my application for Basic Access?
