Hye 
Yeah sure I can guide you through the path.
First of all I login into to ads.google.com then Select the account 
846-917-6003.
Then I goto Tools in the left menu bar and select Keword Planner in 
Planning section.
Then I click Discover New Keywords Card.
Type my keyword lets say "Technology" and press Get Results.
Then click the checbox of desired keyword and add it to keyword plan.
Then move to the next tab which is Forecast.
Click all saved keywords which only includes the desired keyword and add 
all the desired filters to get result. Which gives me conversions budget 
Clicks and other resutls.

Basic Access - No response

Hello,

I've applied for Basic Access, and I have no response. The API Center 
doesn't even tell me a rough ETA of when I may get an approval.
I am a contractor with deadlines to hit. I've applied for Basic Access 
before and have always gotten approved within a week. But I've been without 
a response here for over 3 weeks now

Hi,

I have confirmed that tracking is set up:

And I know the customer has conversion actions already set up. I need to 
know HOW to manage conversion actions for Smart Campaigns. I can't find any 
information specific to SMART CAMPAIGNS. When I 
query campaign_conversion_goal and conversion_goal_campaign_config for a 
Smart Campaign, there are no results. For our example campaign, there was 
not selection of conversions or goals via the API, yet it is reporting hits 
on various customer Conversion Actions already, but that was never 
specified via the API. The Google UI still shows "Set up Conversion 
Tracking".

Ads API Basic access level validation is pending for a long time

We have been asking for the Basic Level, and we still have no response.

I have been contacting the support by all the forms provided in the 
previous threads I saw here, but I haven't received any more news.

Here is my last ticket case  ID 7-756835541

This began to be really problematic for my product, so I would appreciate 
some reactivity here. I am to your disposal for sending complementary 
information if needed, the ID of the ads manager account is inside the 
above ticket for privacy issue.

Retrieve negative keywords at campaign and ad group level

Hello,

I am working on getting the negative keywords of a Shopping Campaign from 
the Google Ads Api and was wondering if there was a way to combine both the 
ad_group level and campaign level negative keywords in one query?

At the moment, I am querying from ad_Group_criterion and campaign_criterion 
separately and It just feels plain cavalier to have to do 2 separate 
queries for seemingly related information.

Is there a way to query and retrieve both my campaign level and ad group 
level negative keywords in one query?

On the Google ads UI, you can determine what level the keyword is at (ad 
group or campaign).

At the moment, I'm under the impression I need to do two separate queries  
to combine this information. 

Hoping there is a better way.

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

If you mention multiple client account Id's (CID) in an API request, then also 
the API returns results for only 1 CID. To retrieve campaigns data for an 
account, you need to issue separate requests against each client account under 
the manager account. This means making individual API requests to retrieve data 
for each client account, kindly note that it's not possible to get data for 
multiple client accounts in a single query. I would suggest querying API using 
or specifying a client account Id in customers.googleAds.search method which 
gives all campaigns data under that particular account. Hope this helps.

I understand that you are facing some issues while making an API call. To make 
an API call to a Google Ads customer, you need access to that customer either 
directly or through a linked manager account. You also need the proper 
permissions depending on the particular API call. I would suggest you to 
Prepare the customer account before making an API call. You need below details 
to make an API call.

Developer token: A developer token from Google lets your app connect to the 
Google Ads API. This is a 22-character long alphanumeric string, and is listed 
under the "API Center" page of your Google Ads manager account. After Sign in 
then navigate to TOOLS & SETTINGS > SETUP > API Center. The API Center option 
appears only for Google Ads manager account.

Client ID and client secret: You can find the client ID and client secret in 
the Google API Console under credentials, you may refer to this guide for more 
information.

Refresh token: The Google Ads API uses OAuth 2.0 as the authorization 
mechanism. By default, OAuth 2.0 authentication issues an access token that 
expires after a limited time. To renew the access token automatically, you 
should issue a refresh token instead.

Customer ID: The 10-digit customer ID of the customer account to which you plan 
to make API calls against. This is sometimes referred to as the operating 
customer.

Log-in-customer ID: The 10-digit login customer ID of the customer account 
you're signed in to. If you're signed in to the operating customer, the login 
customer ID is the same as the customer ID.

I would suggest you to go through 'Make an API call' guide for more information 
about making API call in PHP. Let us know if you have any further queries.

Ads API Basic access level validation is pending for more than a month now

We have been asking for the Basic Level since more than a month ago, and we 
still have no response.

I have been contacting the support by all the forms provided in the 
previous threads I saw here, but I haven't received any more news.

This began to be really problematic for my product, so I would appreciate 
some reactivity here. I am to your disposal for sending complementary

It is normal that you do not receive an e-Mail after applying. Also, the 
API center in the ads account does not show any update on the review 
process.

I am also wondering about the "thee business days" statement.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would 
request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are 
using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to 
enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging 
via the curl command by using the -i flag.

Ads API application took 6 months for review - rejected for simple reason

 Dear all,

we tried getting access to the Google Ads API in October 2023. We forgot 
about the application. Last week, we received an e-Mail out of the blue, 
stating that our request was denied because we already have API access for 
the company that we filled out the application form for.
The last part is true, that company already had access.

However, we are now working on a different project for another company and 
filled out the application form 7 days ago. On the application form there 
is a statement saying 

​There is no rush to apply. Provided that each question has been thoroughly 
addressed, applications are typically reviewed within three business days, 
with an initial decision processed soon after, though some complex reviews 
may take longer.

​We were wondering if these three business days are still valid or if we 
have to expect another waiting period of bearly half a year(!).

We handed in an application for MCC 120-113-814

I would recommend you to follow prerequisites on enhanced conversions setup. In 
order to retrieve information about your conversion tracking setup. You can 
check your account's conversion tracking setup and confirm conversion tracking 
is enabled by querying the Customer resource for the ConversionTrackingSetting 
by the following query with GoogleAdsService.SearchStream:

  customer.conversion_tracking_setting.conversion_tracking_status,
  customer.conversion_tracking_setting.conversion_tracking_id,

Also, you must accept the customer data terms before you use enhanced 
conversions for the web. You can verify whether the customer data terms have

You can utilize the Google Ads Query Builder and Query Validator to build and 
validate the queries for retrieving the data from the Google Ads API.

In order to measure conversions, set up a ConversionAction for the type of 
conversion action you want to track. I would recommend you to check this guide 
on how to Create Conversion Actions for more information.

Is there different limit to change campaign_budget or status?

Hi,

We use following resources for two purposes.
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v16/Campaign

・update campaign_budget
・update status

We request these by CampaignOperation.
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v16/CampaignOperation

We can request 1 requests to update status without errors.
But we get the following error when we request 400 requests to update 
campaign_budget.

*'databaseError': 'REQUEST_TOO_LARGE'}, 'message': 'The data written is too 
large. Split the request into smaller requests.'*

Question1 : Is there different limit for these requests?
Question2 : How many requests in a CampaignOperation are recommended?

Navigating the insane authentication

We have worked with APIs for years, but have never seen anything as crazy 
as the process to make requests. We have spent 2 days going round in 
circles through the various documentation and have still not been able to 
make a simple API call. 

We are using the PHP library. We do not use a configuration file as our app 
will provide core functionality powered by our company tokens, and also the 
ability for customers to login to action requests on their accounts. 

We have set the oauth process, great usually by this point you can make 
requests, but no, we then have to go round in circles trying to find a way 
to make a request without the config file, We find that way, and then, we 
now have to find a way of getting the customer ids which are not returned 
when a customer authenticates our app. 

Which customer ID do we use? Who knows, because the documentation says you 
need them but does not tell you where they are. Great. 

login-customer-id -  is this related to our account as the application 
owners making requests to both our account and customers? Who knows. 

linked-customer-id - well we are really pushing the boat out here aren't 
we! So its not enough that we have generated an Oath Token,
its not enough that we have provided the developer token, its not enough 
that we are providing 
some unknown customer ID, we also have to provide a linked customer account 
ID. 

Can someone please explain in simple process how we make an API call? At 
this moment we are simply 
trying to make a call to our own account to generate some keyword ideas, we 
are absolutely dreading integrating this API for our customers features.

Inquiry Regarding OAuth 2 Authentication and Refresh Tokens in Google Ads API

Hi,
We are currently working on integrating with the Google Ads API, and we're 
using OAuth 2 for authentication. However, we've encountered an issue where 
we are not receiving refresh tokens when downloading the client credentials 
from Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

We've successfully obtained access tokens, but we're facing challenges with 
token expiration and the refresh token mechanism due to the absence of 
refresh tokens.

Could you please guide how to proceed in this situation? We haven't found 
clear documentation or examples on obtaining refresh tokens when using 
client credentials downloaded from GCP.

Any assistance, documentation, or best practices you can provide to help us 
obtain refresh tokens would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, we'd like 
to know if there are any specific considerations or limitations regarding 
the use of refresh tokens in the Google Ads API OAuth 2 authentication flow.

on create or update ?
but only pinnedField, text can be fill and work.
