hi'

i use xfce-4.4.0 and it is great
but i want to ask is there any hope to make thunar
mount local partions like gnome.

i mean hard disk (ide connections not usb connections) .

and about exo-mount how i can make it import hal mount options
like iocharset=utf8

vim and arabic

hi,

i download vim-6.3
compile it and it ok ,view arabic with bidi and shaping very good.
but i have to problems:

1) when i use gvim (gui) the arabic is view with bidi but without 
shaping,why this ?


  (textmdoe ok in any terminal)

2) when i use vim in console no arabic at all it is view as (),why 
this?


  (bash-3.0 with utf8 and view arabic with nano ,cat ,less ,but vim no 
arabic at all)


  (textmode not ok in console)

Kernel panic

i have lsflivecd-6.1.1-1

and install it at the lfs book said

and make my lfs system

but when i reboot i get this:

Warning:unable to open an initial console
Kernel panic - not syncing : No init found Try passing init=option to kernel

what i can do to fix this ?!!

note:
i have boot as  /dev/hda1ext3

and root as /dev/hda4 ext3
