I applaud The Post for covering the tragic story of the Jena Six.
However, your story missed some critical details. Most important, the
public defender appointed to represent Mychal Bell called no witnesses
and did not challenge the jury selected from an all-white pool. The
defense attorney's negligence is shocking, although perhaps we should
not be shocked given the other facts of the story and the rampant
racism at play.

The article also did not mention that the victim, whose family seems
to think he is being denied justice, later showed up at school with a
loaded gun. Incidentally, the unjust system his father bemoaned held
the boy on only $5,000 bail on his charge, while the students accused
of knocking him down were held on bail of up to $138,000. No impartial
person, considering this situation, could believe that the town of
Jena, La., is not stuck in the terrible Deep South past.

Silver Spring

If the victim did not go to the hospital before he showed up at school
with a loaded gun after losing a fight he started with one not six,
following three assaults on the black boys, two with loaded weapons
which the black boys took away without anyone getting shot, the victim
was too healthy for the charge for self-defense to be aggravated
assault. Aggravated implies that the victim was seriously injured, but
he did not leave school to go the hospital and attended a school
assembly, laughing and smiling, with no visible signs of injury, later
the day after he lost a fight he and his friends had been provoking
with hate crimes, brandishing firearms, assault and robbery, for weeks.

On one occasion, the same terrorist gang of WHITE boys was robbing a
convenience store gas station with a revolver, when the black boys
came in and took the gun away. When the black boys turned the gun over
to police, police tried to charge them with theft! These black boys
are angels and ought to be the cops in Jena, if they can twice disarm
the real criminals and never seriously injure the real criminals.

The librarian at the high school said in a TV interview I saw,
that, racism is not the problem, crime is the problem. She was
overlooking the three firearms incidents by the white terrorist gang,
and their beating and assaults, armed and unarmed, focusing only on
the black boy defending himself once without causing any bodily
injury, and that the other five black boys watched, as if it was right
to call any of their actions crime amped up to charges amounting to
a life sentence.

Sharpton criticized officials in this racially tense Louisiana town on
Sunday, saying the attempted murder charges leveled against six black
teens show one rule for white kids and one for black kids.

March in Jena 9/20, the day of Mychal's sentencing on exponentially
exagerated charges, predicated on charging these boys with stealing a
gun when they turned in a revolver they had taken away from one of the
white terrorist gang in an attempted convenience store gas station
robbery. There is a Satanic darkness on the land, said Abraham
Lincoln of southern hypocrisy, in the Lincoln-Douglas debates.

5-Day Martial Law Exercise Next Month

The Department of Defense's Vigilant Shield 08 exercise will be
conducted
in mid-October simultaneously with TOPOFF 4 (Top Officials 4)
sponsored by the Department of Homeland Security, and several other
linked exercises ...

By Lee Rogers - Intel Strike Contributing Writer

The United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) has just announced
plans for an anti-terrorism exercise called Vigilant Shield 08. The
exercise, which is slated to run from October 15th to October 20th,
is described as a way to prepare, prevent and respond to any number
of national crises. The exercise is simply a test case scenario for
the implementation of martial law. Although the description of the
exercise is disturbing, USNORTHCOM also announced that they are
more prepared for a natural disaster and a terrorist attack after
they used their response to Hurricane Katrina as a test laboratory.
During Hurricane Katrina, authorities violated the constitutional
rights of citizens by stealing people’s firearms and even
relocating people against their will. These announcements are
incredibly disturbing on a number of levels as the nature of
Vigilant Shield 08 and the admission that Hurricane Katrina was
used as a test laboratory shows that the government is actively
preparing the military and government institutions for martial law.
Below is the full press release from USNORTHCOM describing Vigilant
Shield 08. Also check out the Vigilant Shield 08 fact sheet by
clicking here.

North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command
along with U.S. Pacific Command, the Department of Homeland
Security as well as local, state and other federal responders will
exercise their response abilities against a variety of potential
threats during Exercise Vigilant Shield ‘08, a Chairman of the
Joint Chiefs of Staff-designated, North American Aerospace Defense
Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM)-sponsored,
and U.S. Joint Forces Command-supported Department of Defense
exercise for homeland defense and defense support of civil
authorities missions.

VS-08 will be conducted concurrent with Top Officials 4 (TOPOFF 4),
the nation’s premier exercise of terrorism preparedness sponsored
by the Department of Homeland Security, and several other linked
exercises as part of the National Level Exercise 1-08. These
linked exercises will take place October 15-20 and are being
conducted throughout the United States and in conjunction with
several partner nations including Australia, Canada, and the United
Kingdom, as well as the Territory of Guam.

VS-08 and National Level Exercise 1-08 will provide local, state,
tribal, interagency, Department of Defense, and non-governmental
organizations and agencies involved in homeland security and
homeland defense the opportunity to participate in a full range of
exercise scenarios that will better prepare participants to prevent
and respond to national crises. The participating organizations
will conduct a multi-layered, civilian-led response to a national
crisis.

USNORTHCOM’s primary exercise venues for VS-08 include locations in
Oregon, Arizona and a cooperative venue with USPACOM in the
Territory of Guam. NORAD’s aerospace detection and defense events
will take place across all the exercise venues, to exercise the
ability to mobilize resources for aerospace defense, aerospace
control, maritime warning, and coordination of air operations in a
disaster area.

This exercise is clearly a way to prepare government to respond to
a national crisis with martial law. This announcement also follows
a number of other news stories that indicate the government is
becoming more actively prepared for the implementation of martial law.

These stories include the following:

George W. Bush issuing a presidential directive declaring that he
is a dictator during the case of a national emergency be it a
natural disaster, a terror attack or any number of crises.

KSLA reporting that members of clergy will be used to convince
people to submit to government in the case of declare martial law.
See the video below.

The U.S. Department of Treasury conducting a disaster drill to
prepare for a potential economic crisis.

In addition to the announcement of Vigilant Shield 08, USNORTHCOM
also announced that they have been using the lessons learned from
Hurricane Katrina to better respond to crises. The response to
Hurricane Katrina was essentially used as a test laboratory to
implement martial law in a city. People were forced to relocate

Texas Company Signs Iraq Oil Deal With Kurds

Hunt Oil CEO Also Serves on Halliburton Board

Texas' Hunt Oil Co. and Kurdistan's regional government said they
have signed a production-sharing contract for petroleum exploration
in the Kurdistan region of northern Iraq, the first such deal since
the Kurds passed their own oil and gas law in August.

We're very pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of these
landmark events by actively participating in the establishment of
the petroleum industry, Ray L. Hunt, Hunt's CEO, said in a statement.

Hunt, who is also on the board of Halliburton, has been a key
fundraiser for George W. Bush, who named him to the President's
Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board.

Dozens dead in Mexico truck crash and blast By Robin Emmott
Mon Sep 10, 6:18 PM ET

NADADORES, Mexico (Reuters) - A tractor-trailer loaded with explosives blew up
in Mexico on Monday after a traffic accident, creating a huge fireball that
killed dozens, including rescue workers and photographers.

People stuck in the traffic jam caused by the accident were also killed in the
blast that left a crater 65 feet wide and 9 feet deep near the town of
Nadadores in the northern state of Coahuila, witnesses and officials said.
There were body parts scattered in the trees, said Paulina Luna, 62, a
local resident who was evacuated to a shelter. Her brother's home was
flattened. The house was swept from the earth as if it never existed, she
said.
The tractor-trailer had collided with a pickup and burst into flames. Firemen
at the scene were trying to put out the blaze when they ran out of water.
Moments later there was a huge explosion that almost obliterated the rig.
We were waiting about 100 meters (300 feet) from the crash when there was an
incredibly loud bang. Suddenly there were flying rocks and a fireball, said
Silverio Alfonso Amador, 44, who was in the traffic jam and survived the
explosion.
His face was covered with burns and his ears stuffed with cotton wool.
At least 29 people were killed and around 150 injured, up to 30 of them in
serious condition in local hospitals, state officials said. Radio stations
reported that about 40 people had died.
Around 260 people living close to the site in a small desert roadside village
called Selemania were evacuated.
An army explosives expert at the scene told Reuters the tractor-trailer was
carrying 25 metric tons of ANFO, a mixture of ammonium nitrate and fuel oil
used widely in the mining industry. Coahuila is a major mining state.
Soldiers and police cordoned off an area up to a mile around the site of the
blast, which badly damaged eight houses and blew out the windows of 60 others.
Witnesses said 26 wrecked and charred cars were hauled away from the scene.
TV images showed a body hanging from a power line.
We found part of the engine, Coahuila state police chief Fausto
Destenave-Kuri told Reuters. The truck practically disintegrated.
Three of the dead were local journalists.
Reporters who were taking photographs died there as well as emergency
workers and drivers who stopped to help, state Gov. Humberto Moreira said.
