How to make the keyboard work in Russian? Russian keyboard (russian layout

That layout is for old input methods. For the current svg keyboard you will
have to create the layout yourself - IIRC nobody did Russian layout yet. But
it's quite simple - you will only need inkscape for that. You can read about
creating layouts here:

 In qtmoko still don't work:
 1) USSD

USSD should be working in qtmoko git now.

 2) Reception of incoming during a call

I havent tried and not missing this very much...

 3) There is no import contacts, in addition to Google

You can import and export contacts to vcf file - just place the file in
/media/card/Documents and click on it in the document scanning app. I am
regulary using this.

Btw this is off topic in this thread. Better to start new one...

 Hi all,

I don't like the svg keyboards much. I work on console and have to fill
webforms often, and the svg keyboard is just oversized. I used the device with
 a pen the most time.

What do you mean by svg keyboard?

For now you can copy .so for docked keyboard and others from some older qtmoko
tarbal. They are in /opt/qtmoko/plugins. I wanted to package the old input
methods, but didnt have time yet...
