Hi, Quick questions: 1) What is the normal method for getting signatures to people after the signing? 2) Is attendance at the Sunday evening session mandatory to participate? [Debconf-discuss] Pollen in NYC
Hi, Now there are some Debian folk on the ground in NYC, I hope somebody can give an idea of what pollen levels are actually like, rather than relying on weather report readings. My hayfever is particularly bad here at the moment, but I'm hoping it will be better in the city and especially with A/C, so if it's not terrible I shan't bother dragging all my various medication with me. 2) Is attendance at the Sunday evening session mandatory to participate? Not mandatory, but if you don't attend, you'll have much fun on verifying the ksp-dc10.txt's hash at each signing. ;) ___ Debconf-discuss mailing list Debconf-discuss@lists.debconf.org http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-discuss

If we don't find anything suitable, we'll probably end up buying one, but I thought I'd just ask first. I don't have one, but need to get one. I would enjoy ordering one to be shipped to Debconf - then I can just take it home with me after. Would this help? [Debconf-discuss] Nifty Tech Things To Do At Debconf
Wondering if anyone is interested in: * Sharing location with Debconf attendees using Google Latitude? (www.google.com/latitude) Requires a smartphone with GPS (probably iPhone or Android) Feel free to add me as a friend on Latitude; I will start updating location shortly. If you're not familiar with Latitude, you can see who is nearby, and tap to contact them, or where someone in particular is. Can view from a PC. * Ham radio. I know I mentioned this a little while back. If anyone else is bringing a HT, would be fun to chat. * What other fun gadgets could we enjoy playing with at Debconf? But if you know about either a very cheap one or one that runs Debian well, I guess I'd be happy to know too :-) I have a sony erricson. Sorry for the delay, I'm not really keeping up with mail. I need to get the numbers off it, which is the only reason I have it here (having switched to an n900) It's quite annoying BTW, but it is a phone, and you're welcome to it once I've confirmed that the names (which seem to be in some bogus attempt at utf16) really are saved on my laptop. If you want me, bother me about it tomorrow, and I'll check the name thing, and then you can have the phone permanently.
