[Debconf-discuss] locked-out of movistar?
My movistar SIM stopped working on the internet last night. Attempts to access the net either timed out or very very slowly redirected me to the movistar prepay site. I thought maybe it was just the end of my 5 day free internet I went to the store, purchased C$150.00 topup, and registered for the $USD 1/day internet - but it wouldn't work either They tried my SIM in another phone - still not working Then they replaced the SIM - a new SIM on the same number/account - still not working in any phone Finally, they set up a new account, new SIM, new number, and another 5 days free internet - that works It took a lot of time wasting for them to actually give me the new SIM, as they kept on trying to prove it was a fault with my European phone. I would recommend that anyone else who encounters the problem: a) take out your SIM and insist that they try it in their phone b) if you see the same symptoms, don't pay a top up for your existing SIM - insist on getting a new SIM with new number What could have caused a lock out? [Debconf-discuss] Assassins: rule amendment. 24-hour delay shortened to 2 hours up to Sat 14th 13:00
Given that the end of the game is now less than 24h away, I hereby
introduce a rule change.
In case someone participating to the game (either dead or alive)
witnesses an attemped kill, the kill is invalid, as before, but the
killer will have to wait for only TWO HOURS and no longer 24h before
trying another kill.
This rule applies up to Sat July 14th, 13:00. Then, from 13:00 to
15:00, the delay will be shortened to only 1 minute (to leave the
victim some time to escape...:-)).
We might very well end up with a few people running after each other
tomorrow between 13:00 and 15:00.
And, of course, remember that, if we happen to end up with only one
survivor, ${DEITY} will call The Holy Hand Sock of Antioch on him|her
in a final apocalyse.

Hi everybody, during the week there have been four computers on the back of the hacklab and today we realized that there are missing some parts (especially RAM memories). It is not at all to blame anybody, but we would like to know what has happened to them and if we can get the parts back somehow.
