I would omit both of those.
I would also omit email adress.

Isn't the email address the only useful unique identifier we have for people?

Thanks. please mark them with the DebCamp track so that they're
 easier to find.

I created 676 and scheduled it for Tuesday the 27th in Interschool.
However, it shows up neither in the logged-in nor the exported versions
of the schedule. I can create the others (Thursday in Davis ... maybe
one other). But, there's not much point if they don't show up, I guess.

(the logo and index on ^this^ version are messed up)

[Debconf-team] customs house broker for video-team gear

2010-07-23 Thread Richard Darst
Hi,

The importer of the three cases from berlin just called me asking what
our customs house broker was. I am not sure how to answer. This
broker would apparently pay any import fees and then bill us for
them.

Who would know? Who's done this into the US before?

I can provide info to someone to call the importer directly.

- Richard

I just checked the Public event box on the scheduling tab. it seems
 to be showing up now.

If you could create and schedule the other video-team training event(s)
 that would be great.

Doh! thanks. sorry about that. I've added 677 as well now.

In particular it would be great if we could find speakers that spoke
English and some other language. I've started a list below of
languages that I think *might* be priority:

Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian (I'd love for a couple folks from the DC11
localteam to join the press team)
Spanish (Since many previous DebConfs have been in Spanish speaking
countries, and it would be great to keep the news flow going)
German (Many Debian Developers speak German, and Germany has a large
 enough population to host Miniconfs.)
French (First two DebConfs held in France)
 Portuguese (DC4 in Brazil)
 Norweigan (DC3 in Norway)
 Finnish (DC6 in Finland)

Since Debian is such a large multicultural and multilingual community
we want help from folks that speak every language in the world, as we
will want to translate press releases back and forth between these
languages and need assistance coordinating with journalists that speak
 these languages.

 Thanks,
