Bug#572447: [support.bytemark.co.uk #222236] Re: Bug#572447: mirror submission for mirror.bytemark.co.uk
Hello everyone! Phil is now push-triggering our Debian mirror. Our debian-volatile mirror could be push-triggered too, but Phil's isn't set up to do that. Is there another mirror that could do that? (and hopefully ftpsync use too :-) All done. Just waiting on a reply from Phil regarding push mirroring. Just to confirm, we've two mirrors in place, one for debian, and one for debian-volatile, and they're both ready for push mirroring using ftpsync. All available over IPv4 and 6, and http/ftp/rsync. At the moment the syncs are scheduled via cron, but as soon as Phil confirms that he's got the push ready, I'll switch the cron jobs off. -- Patrick J Cherry Bytemark Hosting Support http://www.bytemark.co.uk/ tel: +44 (0) 1904 890 890 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. You can find the recommended tool at http://www.debian.org/mirror/ftpmirror#how Thanks in advance. Sorry -- I'd not spotted that requirement. I've now put that in place. IPv6: yes Ok for HTTP and rsync. Now for FTP too. Archive-upstream: ftp.uk.debian.org Volatile-upstream: ftp.uk.debian.org Updates: twice See http://www.debian.org/mirror/push_mirroring, you can find the SSH public key of ftp.uk.d.o at http://hands.com/~archvsync/ and contact at Philip Hands phil SIGN-YOU-CAN-GUESS hands.com It allows your mirror to be synced as soon as updates are available. OK thanks. We need to do a little bit of configuration to get SSH access going. I will contact Philip as soon as we're ready. How much bandwidth is available ? 1Gbps Ta! -- Patrick J Cherry Bytemark Hosting Support http://www.bytemark.co.uk/ tel: +44 (0) 1904 890 890 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
