But how can this be when my patch only touches three files (zend_highlight.h, zend_highlight.c and basic_functions.c), where none of them is related to the files which cause the error? Do you use original .orig.tar.gz or you did repack it? Do you use same build method? Then try to diff debian .diff.gz and your .diff.gz, maybe there will be some hint. And can we agree that this bug can be closed since it doesn't apply to debian packages? (That doesn't mean we won't help you...)
