Hi,
This morning I have downloaded and installed alsa-driver-1.0.14rc3 but
nothing, my audio card is not recognized.

After I have installed the driver (./configure, make , make install) I
have launched alsaconf and then I unmute the sound card with alsamixer
(It seem that it can play only from headsets but I don't hear sound from
no part).

I have a new ASUS A7M, with AMD Sempron and NVidia chipset. Audio
is nVidia Corporation MCP51 High Definition Audio (rev a2) that
has seen by my Debian 4.0 Etch as snd-hda-intel but it doesn't
work at all. No audio from the speackers and no audio with
headphones. I have also tried snd-intel-8x0, nothing. Kernel
2.6.21.1 with alsa modules from kernel and with alsa modules from
package alsa-driver-1.0.14rc3.tar.bz2. I have followed

all the patch available but nothing. No sound.I have also opened
a alsa bug

April 5 but I haven't an answer from alsa people. Let me know if

Are you sure all mixersettings are not muted? Are you a member of
group audio?
